Timeline help?!

Our wedding ceremony doesn't start until 3:30. The night before I am going to decorate the place after rehersal. I'm trying to put together my timeline and I have a reallygap between the time I get up, till I have to get my hair done. Any girls out there have thier timeline started

7:00am-8:00am - - Wake up & eat breakfast
8:30am 9:00am - - Take a shower
12:00am- 1:30pm - - Hair and makeup

Then I have no clue what to do after make up and hair.

Re: Timeline help?!

  • I just posted my timeline rough draft on the 10/20 brides "day of plan".  My ceremony starts at 4 and we are decorating the day of...i think....but after hair and make up, we are going to be doing some of the non bride and groom together pictures...cause i dont want him to see me before the ceremony....i'm waiting on my photographer to tell me which ones he wants to do before the ceremony and which ones after....so that is what is taking up my extra time.

  • When is your photographer arriving? Typically at least some photos get done before the ceremony. You can get them all out of the way beforehand if you and your FI are doing a first look. If not, you can do pictures with your family and bridal party before, and the ones with you and FI together afterward.

I've been looking through a lot of those. They have helped me out some. I guess I should get times from everyone and try to work it in.

He said he was waiting on me to get my timeline done. When I get it done, to let him know when I want him to come? I hate doing this a lone!

  • I was having a REALLY hard time with coming up with a time line.  When I talked to my photog, and I told him the type of pictures I want to take/locations...he was the one who said we're starting at 1200.   Even though my ceremony starts at 5:30! Exhausting haha Hopefully with the use of all the different locations it'll be worth it!

Lol oh my! I have lots of pictures I want. Maybe it will be a good thing to do the same. The venue we have isn't great for pictures.

  • I'm all anxious about my reception timeline. I've looked at timelines where people do their first dance after their announced or they do it after dinner along with the family member dances. I just have no idea what to do or what works best. I asked a friend of mine and she was like "do whatever you want" and my venue is of the same frame of mind. Normally, that'd be fine, but for some reason this decision has me obsessing. How have you all made decisions on ceremony timeline?
