I got so much done yesterday!

- applied for our ABC lincense for the reception

- my mom brought EVERYTHING that was at her house so now everything is at my apartment

- got my latest order from VP

- ordered the rehearsal dinner invitations

- going to pick up my dress from the salon where it got altered!!!

-Booked our appt for alterations. All my girls & myself will be going on April 21st!
-Got an email that FI's daughter's BM dress is in. I think I'll take her tomorrow and pick it up. Maybe while we're out pick up a few more things I need WR.
-Booked hairdresser for day of. She's going to come to the hotel! I'm calling her today to book my hair trial.

That's awesome that you're getting so much stuff done too Kris! I still need to figure out our hair and makeup person. I thought I'd found one, and she was supposed to call me, but she never did.

I'm so glad I won't have to worry about going anywhere. Had we not found her, we would be taking a 20 min drive (40 min round trip). I know it's not that long, but long enough that we didn't want to deal with it. She costs a little more than my hairdresser would have cost, but $100 extra total (for 4 girls) is worth it for me to not have to travel.

My cousin, who sells Mary Kay, will be our "Make-up artist" that day as well and will also be at the hotel! I can't wait to get trials done of everything to see how I will look!

I finally ordered my cake topper from Crafty Eddy and he shipped it. This is the picture he sent me of the topper before he sent it. I plan on blinging it out with purple and gray rhinestones.

I also started working on our Mr. and Mrs. signs for the back of our chairs at the reception. I'll post pics once I'm done.

woohoo!! just booked the last of our honeymoon JUST NOW!! Fiji, here we come!!

Also, I bought the paint and brushes to start painting the aisle runner yesterday. I printed out what I want it to say/look like yesterday as well, but need to go down to the church and do some measuring so I know where on the runner to paint. I want the design to start about a foot down from the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the altar and the actual runner to go up the steps and be about 3 feet past them . . .I just need to figure out how much fabric that will be and how many feet down I need to start.
We are also having our first meeting with the pastor today and hopefully he'll be the one to marry us! I had another pastor in mind, but he's got church camp that weekend and so couldn't do it (after I had already "booked" him, he sent me a card telling me this). So now the pastor of the church we're getting married in ( the other pastor is from my family's church in another state) is going to do it, provided he doesn't have anything else already planned for that weekend (and I hope not!!! he said he was free, but I've heard that before and have already been burned). So, cross your fingers, girls! Let's hope we can get this guy to marry us!!

-one bridesmaid ordered her dress(one still hasn't)
-looking at GM's tuxs today
-found FI wedding band and put it on layaway
-got e-ring sized but stil too lose going to resize again
-worked on guest list
-date for bridal shower and bachelorette party finalized
-trying to clone myself so I can be at multiple places at the same time:-)

Slowly getting packages from my Etsy shopping spree (got my cake stand and "block letter" for my guest book yesterday, yay!). This weekend I'm starting to shop florists.. have no clue where to start, so I'm just hitting up local stores.

Trying to come up with a creative idea for BP gifts.. haven't found it yet but I know I will.

We ordered personalized coloring books for the RB and FG and they arrived today. A bunch of crafting supplies for our champion send off arrived too!

That crafting has to wait until next week because its my birthday weekend and I'm drowning in homework.

So I havent posted my checks in a while, but I just had a bunch! So I thought I would share.
-My invitations came in! I started printing addresses on the envelopes

-We had our first dance lesson and at the lesson we decided on a first dance song! We had it narrowed down to two and then just picked the easier one to dance to. Which happened to be the one I was leaning towards.
- Had my hair and makeup trials Today! The hair is kind of falling out, but I think that is because we played with a couple of different styles. I am IN LOVE with the makeup and the makeup artist was so much fun. She will be great to have around the day of!

In the not so good news we found out this week our best man is definatly getting deployed in April. So he will miss both our wedding and his sisters wedding (which is 2 weeks before ours, and was planned that way in an attempt to get him to be able to come to both). So working with him to still do something for FI as a surprise at the wedding. I don't know if we will record something or just read his best mans speech. But whatever it is I really want to surprise my FI with something as this was his best childhood friend.

-got an email that our invites shipped ( I just placed the order last night!) I ordered 1 groupon's worth from Mixbook to make sure they look ok, if so Ill order the rest.

-got a phone call that my wedding band came in already! it was supposed to take a month or 2, and it came in less than 2 weeks! yay! going to pick it up on monday.

- BM booked our hotel for vegas for bachelorette party! ....I was a little pissed that she booked it before all the girls weighed in on the decision, but I talked to her. It will be ok, its a good deal.

- My mom offered to buy my jewelry. we will talk about it more when I see my parents tomorrow.

So much is happening so fast now!
