What did you do for labor day?

Seems like a lot of people are around this morning... how was your long weekend?? Are you ready for fall??

I did a lot of shopping - got red shoes for my epic outfits, and got my 2nd epic outfit, a purple dress, as well.  Also did a lot of working out, but now my legs are so sore and it's hard to go down stairs :(

Md- Yeay for red shoes! Woot woot! I love red shoes lol

I drove to Louisville this past weekend, which was fun. I get to see a few people and attend a friend's wedding. The FI had his bachelor party in Vegas (yes, 6 months before our wedding) and came home dead tired yesterday, so we spent all labor day on the couch watching movies. So, pretty awesome weekend.

I did get my save the dates in, and I also got little suitecases to use on my card table at the wedding. My FMIL found them and they are perfect!

We had a dinner party and went to a bunch of cookouts. Other than that we just lazed around which was awesome. Oh, I also worked on an invite mock-up. I've been playing around with stuff for a while and finally made one that we both really like! :)

md- I'm sore too from working out!

sari- laying on the couch watching movies sounds amazing

I slept. I serve overnights on weekends only and the Tobi Keith concert was Sat. Even though I made a lot of tips from drunk people, I was beat. I was suppose to be off the floor at 4am and didn't get off until 6am because they just kept coming in.
So I slept most of the day on Sunday and then rested on Monday. I finished up laundry and then FI and I FINALLY went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 last night. yeah...I cried during the last hour of the movie. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD!

The FI and I got a good bit accomplished this weekend! WE got a floral contract in, so I'll FINALLY be done with these flowers! I have to decide if I want my florist to do our cookie table for us or not. I can't make up my mind. She would tray them in these beautiful silver plated trays and pedestals. OR if I should just opt for traying them ourselves.
Also, we got our votives for our tables, Michaels had gret coupons in this weeks ad so we got 12 pack of votives & holders for $4.00.
We also got our STDs ordered! can't wait for them to come in!

Thankfully we have an extra long weekend. FI got a BAD case of poison Ivy so we opted to skip all of the parties and stay around the house and watch mindless TV shows, very relaxing. Plus I got to catch up on my reading. Anyone ever read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evankovich ? LOVE them!

    Have a great work week!

I didn't do much Labor Day activity.  I did start the seating chart (rsvp deadline was the 3, but we still have about 44 outstanding...why, people, why???)

I got the reception timeline, the must take photos, table numbers the menu and bar cards all done. I got our photobook for the guest book in the mail, but I wasn't a fan (I thought it was hardcover, but it wasn't).  On Saturday there was a groupon for mixbook for $15 for $50, so I bought that, and made a guest book that I know is hardcover, and that I will be happier with.

Saturday was FFIL's birthday, so we had dinner out.  Oh, Saturday I also got my first spray tan.  FI called me his little ompa loompa (he's so helpful) on Saturday, but by Monday it was a much more natural color, so I will probably go in a week (10 days before wedding).

I had a good weekend. I was off until today so that was nice. Had dinner with friends on saturday night at churchbrew works and then a fire at my place.

All in all a relaxing weekend.

@ Miss Tattoo--I didn't know you posted on here too! :) I cried at HP as well.

@heb-- The Stephanie Plum series is one of my favorite. It's probably a tie with the Sookie stackhouse series!
