TMI NFP Update

I don't know if anyone remembers, but I started learning Creighton because I was having trouble with symptothermal. I couldn't figure out my CM, and due to work schedules, my temp was all over the place. Some ladies thought I just needed the detailed Creighton descriptors for CM to help me out.

Turns out, nope. I haven't had any at least since starting two months ago. So, time for a referral to figure out what my body is lacking for normal function and to see if I'm even ovulating. Awesome. :(

I'm sorry to hear that your struggles are continuing. I hope that you are able to figure out and fix whatever is going on with your body -- that has to be better than being frustrated with NFP and not knowing that there is something else going on with your body. I'm glad that Creighton is working for you in that respect.

Good luck -- please keep us posted.

I opted for CM for the same reasons.... I'm sure my temp would be all over the place, too!

I have PCOS and take metformin, which has helped a lot with normalizing my cycle when I actually take it every day.  I hope CM and doctors will help you figure everything out!  I can't imagine how difficult it must be to switch between methods.  Do you maybe have some form of endometriosis?

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear Creighton isn't working out either.  I wish you the best of luck in figuring out what's going on with your body.

As soon as I started Creighton, I went 4 months without a cycle. Metformin fixed it. Then the cycles started and I could pinpoint the other issues.

Creighton isn't the problem, and it will eventually help you when you figure out what the problems are.

I wasn't suggesting the method was the problem. Probably shouldn't have used CM since it could stand for cervical mucus or Creighton Method. I'm confident it will help me figure everything out.
