fill out your reply on a RSVP card?

We have received 3 rsvps back that dont say if they are coming or not.
One was my aunt and I knew she was,
The other was FI's friends... we texted them to make sure that yes they are coming
The third today was my aunt and uncle....

Really people?

Oh and update... the RSVP that we received that had a smiley face that we didnt know if it was a zero or not... it was a yes, they are coming

    I feel your pain! Our caterer needs to know exactly who is eating what...so our rsvp card states:

    Please initial by your choice of entree

    umm since when is a check mark and initial?

    Great that Mr. and Mrs. Smith are coming and that one is eating chicken and one is eating prime rib....but please initial so I know that Mary Smith (MS) is eating chicken and Doug Smith (DS) is eating prime rib! grrrrr!!!

    We did this exact same thing and have gotten the same type of responses.  I don't understand what is so hard about this.  I finally just pick one meal for one and one meal for the other, and if it isn't right, they can switch at the dinner.  Not playing that game anymore!

    dang...i guess we are lucky...FI just aggervated certain people just put a check but when its people we Know are comming it doesnt bother me..so thankfully everyone else has been numbers comming...and even little thank you notes or like my cousin's decline..a note explaining why...

    People can be so silly sometimes... it isn't that hard to read all of the card and fill it out correctly. Guests didn't notice that we had our wedding website on our SYDs but noticed it on our reception card... even some of my friends didn't notice it on the STDs... come on people READ!

    I'm doing the same thing.  I refuse to call all the people (a lot) that couldn't figure out put their initials down.  Really?!

    Totally having the same problem where guests can't seem to read to INITIAL their entree choices.  Annoying.

    I don't have people initialing their entrees either. Though, my rsvp doesn't say to 'initial' definitely looks more like a number to be placed by the entree. I figure that I'll just make sure that when I seat them that I let the caterers know how many of which entree goes to what table. I figure it wouldn't be rude if the server asks who had the steak and who had the chicken. As long as the right amount is served to the table.

    Little Jimmy - Chicken

    Then if it's ass backwards they can switch around plates at dinner. Unless you'd like to track them down and ask them.
