    We havent gotten ours yet :/

    Do we need to do blood tests or anything? Or can we just go to the town hall and ask for one?

    Bridgett- you have to go to the Town Hall or County Court and you need 2 forms of ID.  Birth Certificate and Driver's License or Passport.  If you google NY State Marriage License, it has all the info.  Don't wait til the very last second, because you have to wait 24 hours from when you get the license till you cna officially get married.

    Oh and its $40.

    Some states require a blood test to make sure you aren't too closely related Sealed

    And also to make sure either partner does not have HIV.  Some states also require a physical.  NY used to require a blood test, but not anymore.
