Any experience with Gale Woods Farm (Minnetrista, MN)?

Looking for pro's and con's for this venue.  Any experience with having your wedding/reception here?  I want to have my reception in a barn and this place looks nearly perfect other than having to work around it certain policies of the 3 Rivers Park District (Hennipen County).

    My bff is having her wedding there this September and has said nothing but good things about them. The only thing is about food, you do have to choose from a list of caterers they use, but if that doesn't bother you, I'd go check it out! She's having the ceremony outside there and then the reception in the barn on the land. I think there are some liquor rules since it's in the park district, not sure what though.

    I'm getting married there in October, and I love the place.  There are a lot of regulations about decorations, etc.  My biggest hurdle right now is picking one of their caterers...I can't make up my mind.  With the alcohol, you can only have beer or wine (no hard liquors) and if you get your wedding catered, you have to have alcohol catered too.  (if you bring the food but have it made somewhere else, you can bring alcohol but only caterers can get approved for kegs).     If the food is catered but my caterer (chosen from their list) does have beverage service and they are only there for an hour and a half to set up and serve the food, does that mean that I have to hire a beverage service basically to bring in beer/wine (no hard liquor) for the day even if I'm bringing in some of my own food for dinner and cocktail hour food and snacks?

    Gale Woods is with the Three Rivers Park District, and I can only say great things about them as a whole.  I'll be up at Elm Creek but am working with the Three Rivers folks and they have been responsive, flexible, detailed, and thorough - oh and friendly :) Always a plus.
