I just got an email from Davids Bridal about the Spring 2012 White by Vera Wang collection and am completely in love with one of the new dresses. I'm hoping how I am feeling right now will go away before my fitting in January or I may have to try this on and become a three dress bride (dress one is a long story).

    My first dress I bought when I was 18/19. I was in a little bridal store, just because I've always loved wedding dresses and my aunt convinced me to try one on. It was gorgeous and on sale for $100 (originally $1200) so I bought it thinking I would wear it when Fi finally proposed. Well he took a little longer to propose than I thought and my style/vision changed.

    The dressI have now is great, but is a slimmer shape than I had originally wanted. I'm hoping I fall in love with it all over again and can forget about this new Vera dress. Sigh.

    That dress is VERY pretty! if I didn't have a budget I'd definitely be a 3 dress bride... but instead I bought my gown & veil for under $400 and I'm keeping my eye out for a cheap reception/ short dress :)

    EDIT: I just saw your 2nd post.  $100 for a dress is awesome!! Are you still going to wear it at any point or try to sell it..?

    There's a point...there was one dress I saw in photos and was absolutely in love with. Without a doubt. Tried it on... Didn't hate it, didn't love it. So you never know! Lol

    That is a nice dress!  Although, it's not too flattering on that model and I wonder what it would look like on anyone over a size 2.  

    And you can be a multi-dress bride on a budget!  :)  I have two and I've only spent about $300 on both dresses and my veil!

    DON'T TRY ANY MORE DRESSES ON!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really struggling with this idea myself, but I can't imagine how much more stressed I'd be if I really did find another dress that I loved once it was on (not just watching SYTTD and looking through BRIDES).
