  Why do you want to video it? If you're going to surprise her, I don't know that you need any "special" ideas; the proposal will be surprise enough. Good luck.

  Why? Our proposal wasn't filmed and it's still special. Just think of something lovely and run with it -- my fiancé programmed a batch file to take me on a scavenger hunt to find him and the ring.
