Alterations suggestions please!!

Hi!  My wedding is at the end of June. My dress is in and it happens to fit me absolutely perfectly. It has some lace and beading, so there are a couple of loose threads that will need to be cut. I'm still working on picking out my shoes, but even without shoes, the dress is not too long in the front (barely even brushes the ground--except the train obviously).  I know I will have to take it for alterations for those minor threads and a good steam press before the wedding -- possibly a slight hem (which I even doubt that).  I bought my dress at a place in DE, but they are saying that their alterations typically run in the $300 range. They are a little pricey (not my dress but all the other accessories were a little high), and I would like to find a place more nearby that would not overcharge me for the minimal work I will need. (the dress is not many layers either - one outer lace and one or two silk underneath -style Casablanca 1827)  I am located in the Medford, NJ area. Let me know of any fair priced places you know of please!! I'm really hoping to not have to spend over $200.

I recommend Yeon (I think that's how you spell her name) at Fashion Stitch--Church Road in Mount Laurel.  I have used her for alterations before.  Other girls on this site have used her and have always given her good reviews.
    Hope that helps! Wink

I strongly recommend Boyka's Alterations in Marlton.  She is amazing!! I have not got my wedding dress yet so I havent had her do my dress but she has done all my bridesmaids dresses and I always see wedding gowns in there.  She has even fixed dresses that other people have messed up! She is awesome!

Thanks everyone! The suggestions really help! Now to only find the right shoes before alterations....
