I'm getting married in New York in late April of next year. I currently live in Brooklyn and am looking for reception sites in the 5 boroughs, long island, New Jersey and upstate New York (as long as it's within an hour of the city). Essentially my fiancé and I would like to have a DIY wedding but we're been having a lot of trouble finding a non traditional wedding venue who will let us bring in our own caterers, alcohol and decorate the place ourselves. I would love to find a large space that could accommodate for 200 people and will let me do everything else on my own...any ideas?
