Altar decoration? Thoughts...

What do you ladies think of this idea with the garland BUT I picture it a little less flowers, all in red and white roses, no fabric behind it and no horseshoe, but hanging down the sides the way you see it in the right hand side of the picture...

Beautiful! I can totally imagine it and I think it would look great! I kind of like the draped fabric though. Is there any reason you wouldn't use it?

I like the idea, but I agree with romamor. I think it would look better with fabric draped behind. Otherwise the pieces on the sides might not look like they fit.

FI doesn't really like the fabric and I want it to be more about the natural beauty of the area so I don't want to hide the gazebo with fabric

It's beautiful! I understand wanting to highlight natural beauty but I think if you take out the flowers and fabric it could look like too little. But if you know you like the garland you should be able to find other inspiration of garland doing a bit more.
