I'm currently researching caterers and have narrowed it down to 2. Both are within my budget and I've read great things about both. Asked my local board if they've have experiences with either :-)

Bridesmaids dresses. I have my dress done, figured out my guest book, started looking for my flowers (no success yet on them). I am looking for shoes. I dont havem uch more to do. FI is doing the rest. From what I hear he is going to look at two venues this weekend.

Visiting a DJ and waiting for the contract from my photographer. After that we are visiting with the priest to get all the ceremony stuff taken care of.

Sent the email to officially book our DJ this morning, so send out that deposit, and then I'm meeting with a florist on Thursday night to get that started.

We need to figure out where we're having the ceremony and decide on the cake. After that, I think I have a break until spring/summer when I'll look in to flowers, STDs, and bridesmaid stuff.

Want to send in the deposit for the officiant. I was planning on not having time to do anything else for a while, but it looks like I may have a half day on the 29th, so I'd like to get something done then. I'm thinking I may meet with this one florist that I really like to get an idea of prices.

Scratch that, I just booked the cake since I got my quote back and it was WAY less than I thought it would be. Now it's just the ceremony site... my church is my back up so it's not a HUGE rush, I'd just like to have it settled.

Tomorrow we are going to look at the ceremony/reception venue with FMIL and hopefully putting down the deposit.

Then signing the contract for the photographer, dj and videographer.

LOL I went and looked at one with him tonight just to amuse him. I knew way ahead of time it was way out of budget. The other one I am not going with him and even from teh pictures I dont like. I personally would be happy in a cout room and then taking a nice long vacation. Thats why all the big items are on his plate. Ill take on the fun stuff
