It's Friday!
I wasn't lucky enough to get Good Friday off from work and for those of you in the same situation or bored at home here's my weekly questions. :-)

1. What is your favorite flower?

1. What is your favorite flower?
The normal white daisy, not those big colorful things.

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
In recent years my only outdoor activity seemed to involved going to sporting events or camping a few weekends. This Spring/Summer I've decided to get back into biking and fishing.

3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment?
Swings, hands down, I think everything else is boring but I could entertain myself on a swing for hours.

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandals?
Unless they are shower shoes or at the beach I cannot stand it. Especially if they wear them with jeans, I absolutely hate it. God forbid they put socks on at the same time I will completely lose it.
I think this is a regional thing though b/c I don't think any of the guys I know own sandals and most of them laugh when they see a guy who does. But when my brother was stationed in California he picked up the sandal wearing habit and didn't see anything wrong with it.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
I don't have anything on my plate for tonight but tomorrow I'm going for a bike ride and then I have a funeral to attend for my friends father. Then on Sunday I'm supposed to be going w/BF to his mothers house and I'm still trying to figure out what we're doing with my family. I'm lucky that my weekend spills over into Monday so I'm thinking about rearranging the furniture in the bedroom and then my friend and I are going to start a new work out program that I'm pretty excited about.

1. What is your favorite flower?
I really don't have one, because they're all so pretty. It's been really tough trying to decide on flowers for the wedding. (But I might go with tulips!)

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Going for walks on our ranch and looking for animal tracks

3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment?
I'm going to have to agree with swings.

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
I don't mind my FI in flip flops, because he takes care of his feet... lol

5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Spring cleaning with FI, lesson plans, pizza/movie date (we're watching Brothers), and I'm really not sure what else.

1. What is your favorite flower?

Tulips!

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Swimming. Well, anything water related really

3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment?

Monkey bars

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?

I grew up in the cult of CA, so it's pretty normal to me. Plus, my oh so fashionable FI does it all the time. He doesn't have gross feet though.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?

Rip out the grass, replace it with decomposed granite. Take IL to see the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner, crash a wedding.

Anything bright.. I enjoy peonies and the big daisies.

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Tanning, Floating in a pool, and walking my dog when he behaves and isn't choking himself.

I used to HATE it but as long as they keep them tidy and don't have snaggle-toe I'm ok.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
Nothing really. Easter dinner with BF's family and probably just laying around until he goes to Denver for a few days. I have coupons for Chili's so we'll probably hit that up.

It's hard to say I like a lot of flowers but I'll go with hibiscus

Gardening

Swings!

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
It doesn't bother me but it's the norm around here - I get really upset when it gets too cold to wear sandals because they are my go to shoe and it's way too hot down here to wear closed toe shoes in the summer

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
A friend of ours is coming into town today so we are going to hang out with him today and atleast part of tomorrow. Sunday DH has to work so I think I'll just be going over to my in-laws which I'm not really looking forward to.

I love daisies.

Walking with my dog or BBQs.

Hmmm, swings probably.

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
Doesn't bother me. FI and his friends wear them all summer. I know I hate wearing anything but sandals in the summer.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
Lots of laundry today, no idea tomorrow, and Easter stuff Sunday.

I am not working, but what is new. I do have to do lots of Easter baking and several craft projects.

1. What is your favorite flower?
Sunflowers

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
boogie boarding at the beach or boating on a lake

3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment?
Swings! Best part of watching our nephew is that I can pretend to be a kid and go on all of the equipment.

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
Flip-flops are okay, sandals are not. Neither should ever be worn with socks.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
Today - bake Easter bread, make cake balls
Tomorrow - take the dogs to the lake, go to the gym, 2 open houses, and then dinner at the in-laws
Sunday - Church, Easter brunch, and relaxing

And because I have nowhere else to put this and don't want to start a new thread.

1. What is your favorite flower?
Tulips, roses, lilacs and bird of paradise.

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Going to outdoor bars

Riding bike, playing kickball (i'm on a team), camping, just lounging.

3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment?
Hmm... large curvy slides.

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
Doesn't bother me. I once dated a guy who was a parrothead and wore sandles all through the winter (in MN/WI). Guys in flip flops is pretty common place around here.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
working on wedding stuff tomorrow. Going to FI's grandparents on Sunday, taking some e-pics and going to my dads.

Bike riding

I love a good seesaw.

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
Cheap ones just make me think white trash, but if they're the brown leather variety, I like it. Of course, I'm in Texas, so flip flops and sandals are kind of a way of life here.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
Today, it's Asian Food Friday with my son and BF. Probably a movie after and then off to bed for the early morning tomorrow.
I have 2 auditions tomorrow, lunch with my munchkin and maybe swing dancing tomorrow night.
Sunday, pumkinhead goes back with his dad and I may have a production meeting for a show I'm choreographing. Still up for debate. Hopefully it won't happen and I can enjoy a lazy afternoon with BF and maybe take my new camera for a spin at the park or something.

1. What is your favorite flower?
I always say that daisies are my favorite flower, but I'm getting interested in others.

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Riding my bike! I just got one a few weeks ago and I'm so excited to have it. BF doesn't have one of his own yet, so I just ride around in circles while he watches. When he gets his (or when I get a basket for mine, whichever comes first) I'm planning on using it to go to the store.

3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment?
I like all playground equipment. There's this really elaborate playground near where I live, and my friends and BF and I go there after dark to play. Its well lit, but there aren't any kids there, so we can play without running anyone over.

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
I actually really like it. As long as they aren't those foam ones. I kinda hate those on anyone. But leather ones are nice, if the guy has good feet. BF has great feet, they always look like he just got a pedicure without him even really trying. I'm kind of jealous, actually.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
Going home for the weekend. Spending some time with my family... Sunday, going to church and having Easter dinner with my sister. My mom has very strict rules about what meat is allowed for what holidays, so I always look forward to Easter ham.

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity? going to an amusement park.. does that count? :-) I like walking around on a peaceful day
3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment? it used to be the 'monkey bars' until I fell from them and broke my nose in the 2nd grade... now it's the swings!
4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles? If they're feet look ok (well taken care of/not hairy/clipped toenails) I think it's okay... as long as it fits the outfit.
5. What are you plans for the weekend? Celebrate my engagement!! Clean the house, celebrate Easter, nothing it set in stone yet.. FMIL was going to come in town but her backyard tree went into their neighbor's roof this morning during a storm, so, not sure what's going to happen with those plans!

Carnations, they remind me of happy times.

2. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Sunbathing, swimming, walking my dogs, sitting in my hammock and reading.

3. What is your favorite piece of playground equipment?
The swings, always!

4. How do you feel about men in flip flops/sandles?
As long as they don't wear them with socks.

5. What are you plans for the weekend?
Doing something for my grandfather's birthday, I think, and then probably having Easter dinner at my boyfriend's house, but I don't know how much of it I'll be able to eat, it still being Passover and all. I feel like doing some shopping. Maybe I'll do that this weekend, too.
