Alterations

I have to have some alterations on my gown and my bridesmaids need some alterations on their gowns also. I am scared to death to just try someone on the list the bridal salon gave me. I would love to hear if anyone here has someone they know is good and trust worthy. This is just adding so much stress . Hope someone on TK can help me! (Sterling Heights, Utica, Shelby, Macomb,Troy, Utica,Clawson, Berkley areas, etc!)

    I used Michele at the Wedding Shoppe in Berkeley and she was fantastic!  My dress turned out amazing :)

    I probably could have found someone a bit cheaper but she had such fantastic reviews on TK that I knew I could trust her.

    I LOVED my alterations at Brides by Demetrios in Troy
    -- her bustle is color coordinated (underneath the dress so you can't see) so it's VERY easy for whoever is bustling your dress (if you're having one)

    How were the prices there?  I may just have my alterations done there since my dress is currently at their store.

    I went to a lady who does alterations from her home.  My SIL got her dress altered by her and H's cousin is getting hers done by her as well.  She is located in Macomb Twp off of card between 21/22.  She also altered 3 of my bridesmaids dresses for my wedding.  She is fairly reasonably priced and is a very honest person.  If you are interested in getting her information let me know.
