randoms:

1) i ordered way too much from Sephora during their 5x points promotion. I think I am going to need to impose a buy ban on makeup for a while. (At least until the VIB Christmas party - I could use the discount to stock up)

2) i am annoyed that my ILs still have not booked their flights for their (supposed) November visit. From what DK has said, they're going to come on the 7th or 8th and stay until sometime the following week. That's 3 weeks from now, FFS. I wouldn't give a damn if they were staying in a hotel - but they're staying with us.

3) I'm very excited that we get to have a date night on Saturday. Daycare is running a parents' night out. Cost is very reasonable ($30 for 6-11pm). We have a gift card for one of the nicer steakhouses in town, and we're going to make very good use of it.

4) I am shocked that Conn has had a wife for all of these years and has not told us.

IDK how or why I had $15 for a local Groupon thing to spend, but I did and there was a $15 for $30 at a high end steakhouse we like, so I snatched that sucker up. So, $0 for $30, woohoo!

we had a date night last night (with each other) and it was pretty nice. we probably ordered one of each thing on the menu, and also did shots. we don't get out much.

i am on and off today, because my set keeps losing it's connection. our network is crap.

i'm not shocked about anything regarding ms. conn anymore. after that nonsense whenshe learned her wife actually did enjoy the lovin', nothing surprises me anymore about her. or him; we have no way to know.
