Only 4 months more to go for me! Yay!

We still have 2 big TO-DOs that we haven't even started yet. My fiance & his GMs suits/outfits and our RINGS! Which do you need to order first? How long do the rings usually take? What about a tailored suit?

    FI ordered his suit two weeks ago at the absolute latest they'd take the order, but we don't have it back from the fitting yet.

    I ordered my wedding band in December and I still don't have it, so I'd say better sooner than later.  We bought FI's and took it home the same day though.

    4 months will go so fast!

    Thanks Christi! I will defintely do our rings ASAP then. And knowing my fiance, he will wait till the last minute no matter what I say....ugg, boys....lol

    Unless you find a stock ring that fits, or get a plain domed band that can be sized, you're probably looking at a special order.  Wedding ring special orders can take up to 8 weeks, depending on the vendor.  They also usually close down for a week at Christmas and a week in the summer.

    OMG....it's getting so close!  I am down to 3 months and 1 week....yikes!

    Don't worry, I haven't done our GM's yet either but I am going this weekend so we should be fine.

    Hmmmm....maybe I need to remind FI about my band.  He was so funny about a month or so ago.  He didn't realize the band is what "with this ring" was referring too and was just going to randomly surprise me with it one day so I could have it.  I told him "sure, go for it.  that just means you have to get me another one for the ceremony"  I laughed....he didn't, lol

    ETA:  I meant "haven't purchased our GM's" yet....b/c that did NOT sound right, lol

    OBX you crack me up!! You need to get those GMs DONE lol!

    Aren't boys just so last minute?? It drives me crazy. I am 100% done with my BMs outfits minus the shoes. And they have not even gone shopping and chosen their complete outfit yet. Grrrrr. Maybe if I offer a bride of free pizza and beers after their shopping trip it will get them motivated???

    Sarah- 4 months from tomorrow exactly til my wedding! How exciting! My MIL is getting my fiancé outfit so we do not have that yet. I'm not too worried though. I know she'll get it done! We're only have a best man, so I have less worry a out that since it's only 2 boys to worry about. Guys can be a pain, all us girls know this! For the wedding bands, we ordered ours about a month ago, his is in and sized, mine should be in the 15th. I would just go get them soon, in the next month.

    We went to pick up FI's suit today.... and the sleeves were different lengths.  They can still fix it in time, but it just does to show NOT to leave stuff until the last minute.  BOYS, ugh!!  :)
