Day of beauty/photo timeline

Hi All- I was hoping for some help in settling the details of my wedding timeline. My ceremony is at 3:00 and I need to leave for the church at 2:00 (15 min drive). My photographer will start at 12:00 and leave at 1:30 to go take pictures of the guys. I'm hoping to have pictures taken of my accessories and me getting dressed/finishing up make-up (DIY).

Right now my hair apt is set for 9:00, getting done at 10:30.  I'm worried this may be pushing it to get back to the hotel (hair place is 15 min away) and get my makeup done by 12:00 when the photog arrives.

Any advice would be appreciated!

    I think allowing 1.5 hours for hair is plenty.  I think you'll have plenty of time for makeup, dressing, etc. and leaving by 2:00.  If you're not done at noon that's fine, your photographer can shoot your details while you finish up and then photograph you getting dressed.  It looks good to me actually--just try to squeeze in a bite to eat before you do your makeup.

    I'm gonna have to ditto stephie about the food. that was one thing I did not see in your timeline--time to eat and brush your teeth before makeup.

    Oh great! I'm so glad that it seems like it will be fine! Thanks for the reminder about eating! I'm not the type of girl to forget, but it's good to keep it in mind!

    I'm not saying it won't be tight--it will.  At my wedding, the "getting ready" time was the most stressful and was also the time that everything else seemed to be happening at once.  Since you're doing your own makeup, have your planner or a BM or mom or someone field any requests from vendors, relatives, etc. so you can concentrate on just getting ready.
