La Sposa Bridal, Mahopac

Has anyone used La Sposa Bridal in Mahopac to buy a dress or for alterations? I just bought my dress there, but the only review I can find says NOT to get alterations there. Anyone else?

    Did they say why not? (usually reviews warn of staying away because of price or skill. A skill reason, I may listen too, a price, not necessarily)

    Anyway, I didn't get my dress there, but I did look. and the ladies at the shop seemed really sweet. I almost wanted to get my dress here so all my main vendors could be from Mahopac! (I kinda wanted to be a hometown bride:)

    For alterations I went to Alterations, Etc in Wappingers Falls. Leslie did a great job!

    My bridesmaid dresses came from La Sposa.  The women were wonderful to work with and the dresses all fit the girls like a glove!  I did my dealings with them via telephone at first because I lived so far away (I found the dress where I lived and then sent my girls to La Sposa to purchase the dress).  I felt as though their alteration prices were a little high, but I'm also kind of cheap :)  

    No bad comment from me :)

    Thanks. The review I found was based on the quality of the alteration, so I was getting nervous. Glad to hear that other experiences were good!
