    I'll post a pic later tonight! I'm making the last three so I can run to the Post Office in the morning. :)

    Edit: I don't want to sound like a procrastinator. I've had most of the STD's made since last weekend, but getting people's addresses has been like pulling teeth! By FAR the worst part of my planning experience thus far.

    We're sending ours this month too -- I've been secretly dreading the gathering of addresses, so we haven't started yet.

    I wasn't planning on sending our stds until January. Are you guys having destination weddings or am I just behind? Lol. We actually designed ours but haven't ordered them yet to be printed since I thought 6 months out was sufficient time, even with a lot of our guests being out of town.

    We have alot of guest who are out of town and in the military. I wanted to make sure they had plenty of time to plan. Plus everyone keeps asking about the date so I figured I would just send them.

    Ours is sort of a destination wedding -- it's about an hour and a half from where we live. But we have a lot of out-of-town guests who may want the opportunity to start saving/planning their trips out here so we decided to send them a little early!

    Woot woot! We received ours in the mail last week, and they look great! The goal is to get them sent out by the end of the month - hopefully sooner. FI is really dreading the address gathering too, so I am having to push him a little bit. 

    avolker, we are sending ours out really early because our wedding happens to be the same weekend as San Diego Comic Con, and 95% of our guests are OOT. So we want to give them plenty of advance notice so that they can book their flights and hotels early and hopefully get decent fares/prices.

    Thanks everyone. We are getting married in nj and have many guests coming from ca so now I'm thinking I may send them out earlier. It's good to see what timeline other people are on who also have a lot of our of towners.

    We're sending ours in the next coming weeks, and I guess it's so early because our wedding is a holiday weekend. Also partly because I'm so gosh darn excited!

    I'm going to send mine out sometime in October.  Ours is also on a holdiay weekend (July 4th weekend!) so we want plenty of time for people to plan.  We're waiting a bit longer than everyone else, though because our engagement pictures are in 2 weeks and I wanted to use one of those in the design.  We also need more addresses!  I got addresses for all the people I'm responsible for (my friends and cousins), but I need my parents and FILs to get on theirs!  I have a feeling I'll have to say that if I don't have an address by a certain date, they won't get an STD - gotta draw the line somewhere.  Doesn't mean they won't get an invite, though - as long as I have an address by the time those got out!

    Great job to the ladies that have done this and plan to do it in the next few weeks. We scheduled our ephotos for the end of the month. I plan to send our std dec 1, doubling as holiday cards.

    I've read so many different things on when you should send the STDs but we sent them out early because like Chels I am getting married Comic Con weekend in San Diego and 90% of our guests are OOT. I ordered them back in March so I'm suprised I was able to wait this long haha. We got our from magnet street which I HIGHLY recommend if anyone still has to get theirs.

    Also, with the addresses I just printed labels and put them on there. Didn't think I needed to be too formal with the save the dates.

    Hi! I'm new here :) I hope to have ours out by the end of the month as well since my FI has most of his family coming from out of state and it's also on 4th of July weekend!  All of our friends addresses were easily retrieved via Facebook messaging, but getting him to get his out of state's family's has been like pulling teeth!!
