Has anyone heard of or ordered from dressilyme?

I know it's a china based site but I've read nothin but good things and comments about it. I know buying from overseas is is risky but keeping my options open incase I don't find anything here in the states that I like and is within my budget.

I have an appointment at Davids Bridal next week.

Just wanted to know.

Also like how the site has a fb page where customers can post on.

Most reviews from the knockoff sites are fake, and the companies will routinely remove bad reviews or comments from their facebook or other pages.

If you order from a knockoff site, you need to consider that "lost" money, and hope for the best.  Most knockoffs turn out bad.  The fabric isn't anything like the quality you will get from the designer dress, and the stitching and sizing is usually way off.

Some brides do get lucky, and their dress turns out ok.  But, even the ones who get "lucky" will usually admit that the dress doesn't look, feel or fit like the original dress.  But, it's "fine" or "good enough".
  • Thanks for the input. Yeah I'm iffy about it but they also have a very active facebook page with people actually posting and inquiring.

It is a risk. I just guess I have to decide if I want to take it. I would love to find something in my area though.

    Thanks once again :)
  • I got my dress from a chinese online site like dressillyme after ALOT of scouring various reviews.  From what I gather (including my own experience), these sites are good for relatively simple orders, but aren't great if the dress has a unique silhouette or a lot of embellishment.  I'm happy because I had reasonable expectations, then brought it into a tailor in the states to finish off the job.
