I need ideas for gifts to give my soon to be husband on our wedding day! I was going to get him an engraved pocket watch or a nice wallet with a monogram metal letter. I feel like these are sooooo generic.
I want to do something unique and fun!
A lot of people I know did Boudoir photo shoots...what are your thoughts on this?
Re: Something for the Groom?
My gift for the groom is his groom's cake, he doesn't know about it and it's in the shape of his favorite NFL team. We decided our gifts should be used to enhnce the wedding day instead of something fancy and generic like you mention above.
My hubby doesn't wear a watch, but if he did I would have purchased him a nice watch and have the back engraved.
You could come up with a bunch of fun stuff that has meaning to the two of you and isn't necessarily something to "keep" as in a keepsake. Use your imagination..........ticket stubs from an event you went to, attached to scrapbook paper or in an album, with words like "you are just the ticket for me".......you get the idea.
A nice photo album or scrap book of pictures and special events can be meaningful. One of the first gifts my hubby gave me when we were dating was a nice picture of us taken on one of our trips, in a silver frame. While not a show stopper as a wedding gift, it's along the lines of boudior pics, but maybe less intrusive for you to do?
