QOTD

When it comes to buying presents (for family and friends), does your FI/DH help out or is it all up to you?

All up to me!  Normally I don't mind but sometimes it would be nice for some help or input - especially when it comes to his side of the family.

It's always up to me.  Even my parents want me to figure out what they can get my SIL and in-laws (we all have Christmas together because they live five minutes down the road from each other).

It is usually up to me, but he usually does his dad and brother.  Also, this year, he is running the gift show for the nephews!  Yippy!  I don't have to!!!

My FI's family doesn't do presents becuase they can't afford it. But I like to give them all a little something on my behalf. So, I do all the gift shopping for both my family and his family. He's kind of a scrooge when it comes to Christmas  :o/

We split it. I buy for my family and he buys for his. But I give him some input on his mom and sister.

We split it. He does his parents, grandmas and his sister. I do my parents and my grandma. We buy my nephews and small cousins and most of the time he helps with them since it's mostly toys and video games.

It's mostly me. He will contribute an idea if he has one, but that's rare. Usually the only person he has suggestions for is my brother (he doesn't have any siblings). But I like shopping, so I don't mind! Plus this way I can keep it all very even and fair as to how much we are spending.

We also split it. DH gets his family and I get mine and we combine our names and done and done. lol pretty simple. But we do give each others input if we need it. :) We work together as a team.

We sit down together and figure out what everyone wants...then once we know I go out and buy every gift...overall it seems as if the girls get the short end of the stick when it come to christmas.  I just know that if I waited for him to buy them it would be christmas eve.
