So FI and I picked our readings this weekend and I'm realy excited about them!!!  

First Reading: Genesis 2:18-24
Second Reading: Corinthians 12:31-13:8a
Gospel: Matthew 19:3-6


I'm ESPECIALLY excited about Corinthains.  The whole part with "Love is Patient, Love is Kind"... my FAVORITE bible verse.  Any time I am getting really cranky at FI or mad at him for something stupid, I take a step back and think about that verse and I always feel better

    We're also having the Corinthians verse read.  Seems a traditional wedding verse, though I think it's slightly taken out of context.  Doesn't matter, it's still beautiful!

    We did Song of Songs as a first reading at our wedding two weeks ago. It was perfect.

    I also love the Corinthians reading (my favorite too lol)  And I remember when I was younger someone told me that you are truly in love and ready to be in love when you can put your name in place of the word love... i.e.  Shawna is patient, Shawna is kind...

    I thought that was awesome and it's just something I remember from when I was little lol so I thought I would share :o)
