Hey there,

I am having terrible luck with photographers - My top two choices are now booked and so I am looking for recommendations from other knotties as to who they used and/or saw and loved.

I really dread doing this search again so that's why I've turned to you guys for some input.

Feel free to post here or PM me. Please don't advertise if it's your own company - Not only is it against TK's ToS, I find it tacky and will not use you either.

Wedding is in Milton, ON and I've spoken with photographers all over the GTA and further who will go to Milton.

We're looking for someone who takes amazing candid photos and very little posed.

How much do you want to spend on your wedding photographer?

I would recommend Elizabeth Kaye from Elizabeth in Love (www.elizabethinlove.com), she is AMAZING. Just take a look at her website - all her photos look candid & so unposed. She may be booked up though, she is very much booked with next year's wedding season and she is also a bit pricey - but you pay for quality. Her packages start at $3900 & she is based out of Hamilton but she does weddings all over Ontario.

I LOVED our photographers!!
They are decently priced and are willing to travel (they work out of Barrie but we got married in Toronto)
they post lots of pics on their blog (my hubby and I are on there!) and do great workf - worth checking out for sure!

My photographer was James Heaslip, he was great and I would recommend him. He works in the Burlington - Oakville - Toronto area.

He is definitely into artsy, candid photos and very little "smile at the camera and pose" pictures. He does a lot of outdoor stuff in the grass and stuff. You can see his style on his portfolio.

I'm booked with Sharp Fluff Photography http://www.sharpfluff.com - they did a wedding in Milton which looks amazing. I also love our engagement session which was candid style and not stiff.

Hope you manage to find someone you would love to work with and is not booked.

Which venue in Milton, Dion? I'm getting married there too! At Country Heritage Park

We're using AMV Pros, but I think they are all booked up for next year. It might be worth it to call anyhow because they have great prices, especially if you can bundle and get a videographer or DJ as well. We are doing our engagement shoot on July 15, so if you haven't found someone by then I'll tell you how it went.

Hey guys!

Thanks soooo much for the recommendations! Our budget is flexible.
I'll be checking out the above photographers you've mentioned and emailing them for appointments if they are free!
I feel alot better as you all have provided a bunch of new options for me that I have not seen before (It's incredible the amount of photographers in this area lol it's overwhelming!) so THANK YOU SO MUCH! Honestly.

I never knew you could get married at the Country Heritage park!

I booked Mario at Avangard Photography but who I really wanted was Jennifer from Jennifer Images. Look her up if you love Candid pics! Se does them well and her prices are reasonable.

I just wanted to second AMV pros, I had them for my DJ but a friend of mine had them for DJ and photography and the photos were beautiful. They are very professional and reasonibly priced.

Ì would recommend our photographer Hasahn Fisher http://www.fisherfotographic.com he is fantastic! He did my sister's wedding, and is doing mine and two of my cousins as well. I love his work as it's not too posed or typical. His prices are reasonable too!!

We are using Elaine Eve, and she is amazing!! Her prices were very competetive and the pictures are stunning. We've done our engagement shoot with her so far and it was a total blast. She has great energy and a great eye, and she's been wonderful to work with in every regard. Definitely recommended.

I would not recommend our photographer as she lost a good chunk of our reception pictures (problem with the disk drive..why she wouldn't bring backup is beyond me). Just in case any of you come across this business please re-consider or at least make sure she ensures you it won't happen again:
