I came across a videographer from South Jersey, persempre videos... I love his work! I am meeting him later this month but I just wanted some info before hand. He seems very nice and very talented, I guess I am just thinking he is too good to be true! Can anyone give some info on him that has worked with him? Thanks ladies! It would be much appreciated!

I just noticed he was just mentioned on this board and Summerpastelbride used him.... and that is nice to see him mentioned. Anyone else have anything else to say about him? He sounds perfect though. I am getting my pre wedding video done in April. Cant wait! I should not worry so much!

A few girls on this board have used him and loved him. I would have seriously considered him, had I not found him after we already booked a videographer!

I actually meet up with Steve and he is really nice. I saw some of his videos and they are very good. He is also very reasonable. I believe $1000 for everything. He even comes to the rehearsal dinner to make sure he knows everyone and their faces. He also said he would come to shoot on the wedding day whenever you want. I told him I was going to get my hair done at 8 am and he's okay I'll be there, which was something I wasn't expecting. The reason why I didn't go with him was for two reasons. One he didn't have insurance but he said he was going to get it once wedding season starts back up, not sure exactly what month. The second reason why we didn't go with him is because he uses two 100 watt light stands during the reception. We thought this was too bright considering we are investing a lot of money into uplighting and we felt that his light stands would ruin our vision and the mood. But other than those two reasons, we would've definitely booked with him. GL!

Thanks for replying ladies! I will meet with him and most likely use him... that's great that he will come whenever I want, and for the RD, and I hope he does have insurance, as most venues require that. As far as the lights he uses, I am trying to picture it. I hope its not too bright and annoying.

I am just chiming in even though you probably already saw my other post. Steve was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our final DVD is amazing.
He came to the rehearsal at my church in Northeast Phila all the way from Mays Landing and then was back in South Jersey the next morning for the wedding prep. At the rehearsal, he even helped to set up some fans in the church, which was above and beyond anything he needed to do. On the day of the wedding, I barely noticed him, except during our photoshoot (which was good). As for the light stands--I never noticed them in the reception so I am not even sure where Steve set them up. They did not take away from anything or bother anyone. Also, he worked extremely well with our photographers and their creativity played off of each other leading to some great shots (on film and video).
As for the insurance issue, I never thought to ask! I am sure he will have everything set up by his first wedding of the season this year.
The reason why Steve's prices are so amazing is that he is newer to the area and still building up clients. I could not recommend him more!

I should also add that my friend used Steve (Ashley and Chas on the sample videos) and they loved him too!

Thanks Summer, that is wonderful to hear all the good things. I just worry too much. I know he is new to the area, which I am lucky because of his great price. My photographer is new to this also, this is her 3rd year doing weddings, so I am also getting a great deal with her. I appreciate the feedback!

Oh nice! He did mention to me he'd be in the Philadelphia area! I'm getting married in AC, but live west of Philly. We are still deciding between two photogs, and we just met with someone who was doing wedding for three years. It would have been weird, if it was the same one! We met with Danielle Hopkins! She is awesome!
