I saw you used Rev. Alberta Eaton as your officiant. Did you like your ceremony when it was all said and done? We've hired her as well so I'm just curious. :)

Yes!  I loved Rev. Alberta.  When we first booked her she sent me a giant book of all different types of ceremonies.  I went through and highlighted bits and pieces that I liked.  Then we had a face-to-face meeting with her where she got to know us as a couple.  She used my highlights and things from our conversation to put together a ceremony.  She sent me the draft and let me approve/change it.  I only had a very minor edits.

DH and I have a bit of a unique circumstance.  We were actualkly college sweethearts that went our seperate ways after graduation.  I got married to someone else, subsequently divorced and ultimately DH and I got back together and married.  I think that Rev. Alberta did a great job of touching on the topic without banging it over peoples heads.

I still have the entire copy of our ceremony around here somewhere.  If you PM me your e-mail address I can send it to you.

Awwww, I'm glad she did that so carefully. It's not a first time around for either of us and she's been pretty delicate about it. We actually have the draft that I've been editing up a bit already. Just wanted to get some real feedback on how the day of went and everything. I'm glad you're so pleased with her! :)

The only negative thing I can say was something that was actually MY fault.  I should have gotten some type of microphone for her.  It didn't occur to me until the night before and by then it was too late.  Most of the people didn't have a problem hearing, but a few people in the very back, said it was hard to hear.
