Bouquet wraps

I need some opinions here please. Due to some miscommunication and stubborness etc. that I won't bore you with here, I have 3 BM and 1 junior all in different shades of blue and different styles of dresses. I think it will look lovely, but I am trying to establish a little continuity with the remaining details.

So my question is this: my 3 BM are all in Jcrew dresses and will all be carrying a bouquet of fuchsia Mokara ordids. I can order a yard (nothing less) of fabric from Jcrew for $75 total ($25/per) to wrap their bouquets so it matches their dresses or, as my FMIL suggested, I can wrap them in silver ribbon to match their shoes. I'm not sure how silver will look with the fuchsia orchids, but at this point, FREE appeals to me. What do you all think? I've attached links to the dress colors for reference.

The bouquets are the bridesmaids' here:

P.S. The junior will be carrying a kissing ball with a white satin handle.

I'd say go with silver or white.  It won't be that noticeable anyway and spending $75 for a piece of fabric that no one will know is there but you and the bridesmaids is crazy in my opinion!  Do any of them need their dresses hemmed?  My only other thought would be to use extra material from the dresses if you're set on having the blue.  Or can you get a swatch of the dress to take to a store that sells yards of fabric and get something to match?  Either way, I really think silver or white would be 100% fine!

Silver is a neutral color and will go with pretty much anything.

I wouldn't be able to willingly spend $75 on fabric that nobody will even notice, personally. I think MH would've hauled me off to the looney bin if I'd told him that I'd spent $75 on bouquet wrap fabric :P

$75 for JCrew fabric? They have to be kidding. Seriously, it wouldn't even be a thought in my head. I would NEVER pay that money.

If you really want the matching fabric, it might be an idea to try and find a matching dress on eBay/Craigslist for less than $75, and then cut it up for scrap fabric.

Alright, thanks for talking some sense into me. We all get carried away with certain idiotic ideas at some time during the wedding planning, and this happened to be one of mine. I guess I just didn't want to introduce a fifth shade of blue into the mix, but it sounds like my FMIL found the perfect solution.

@colxine: my ladies love 'em! Everyone is psyched to have a pretty dress to wear after the wedding.
