Stores that carry plus size bridesmaids/evening dresses??

I am looking for stores that have a good selection of plus sized evening or bridesmaid style dresses in the area.

My Mom and I are trying to find some options for my sister to wear to my wedding next year. My sister is a size 22 or 24 so we want to head to stores that will have options for her to try on. My sister also has disabilities so we are not looking for anything really sexy, most likely a more modest evening gown that she will feel comfortable in.

I have heard that David's bridal has a lot of selection, but have never been there myself. Any experiences with DB and plus size shopping?

    I'm pretty sure that Catan's has a whole area dedicated to plus sized dresses.

    I am a plus sized person myself and a few stores I have visited are DB (bad experience but great selection), Catans (ok experience), Expressions Bridal in Mentor and I can you more if you need just let me know.

    Hey!  I think DB is a good place to start.  My friends and I have found all of our formal gowns there. If you do, I suggest the one on Mayfield in Lyndhurst. . . ask for Lyndsey (I hope she's still there, was my consultant and super sweet).  Other than that, some of the larger department stores have a decent selection of plus-size dresses.  Check online to see if they're formal enough, but torrid also has quite a few cute things! :) HTH!

    We shopped David's. One of my BMs is plus-sized and she had no trouble finding stuff to try on. I think she was a 20 at the time? We went to the N. Olmsted store.

    Expressions, Catatns and Davids all carry plus sizes.  Just an FYI expressions can order any dress for you as long as they carry the designer.  So if you find a dress on line you like they will order it up for you. Catans and Davids may do this as well but I don't know for sure.  Good Luck!
