So I creepily stole pictures of my friends wedding off FB, thats why there are none of people, just the stuff that David did.

    ICK not my style...those centerpieces are weird....as is the cake covered in flowers.

    Can you crop the peoples heads out so you can post the pics of dresses on here?

    What did you think of it?

    It looks fun but in a "crazy gaudy" way  in the pictures, but Im wondering if it's one of those things where it actually looks amazing in person

    Yeah, I'd love to hear your opinion of in-person.  I don't know that I'm a huge fan from the pictures.

    Please keep us posted on when the episode will air.  I definitely want to see it!

    and i wasn't there- grad school sucks. but people said it was amazing. i can't tell from the pictures either; i showed them to my mom and she felt the same way that it seemed like a "miss" for him

    I love daffodils and hydrangea, but I don't love those centerpieces.  

    I've only watched the show twice, but both times I didn't like what he did.

    I like the colors but I do not like anything that he did here, personally I really don' t understand why he is in demand.

    I agree with you Kathy about why he's in demand.  A lot of his work seems to be knocking off Colin Cowie, but his work is not nearly as tasteful (not that Colin Cowie's work is my style either, but...)

    And yeah, those bridesmaid dresses do nothing for the girls!  I bet that dress wouldn't be flattering on anyone who isn't a 6-foot tall twig.

    What is up with the umbrella centerpieces?
    I like flowers on cake but this one has way too much, the cake got lost under all those flowers.

    Those BM dresses. are not flaterring at all. I wonder if the bride had picked a better dress for them?

    And people think David Tutera is the G-d of wedding planning?

    I think he tries out new things on these brides. That way he doesn't piss off the brides paying $100,000+ to have him do their wedding and it comes out looking like that. haha

    Sadly not really a fan of any of this, the centerpieces, cake, bm dresses, decor, nothing.

    But I normally get a kick out of his show even if it's not my taste most of the time.

    I cant't see him around much longer sooner or later someone is going to say enough is enough. There are so many talented wedding planners that deserve to be in his shoes. I want to start a petition to kick him off TV!

    Does anyone know much about his career before Whose Wedding Is it Anyway?  I had never heard of him before that.  Wondering if he was actually well-known before that (I had never heard of him before TV, and I know I checked out websites of the more famous NY and LA wedding planners for inspiration), or if became well-known *because* he's on TV.

    It DOES look like alice in wonderland, but I don't think that was the theme. Who knows.

    My mom did say that the BM dresses looked like circus tents with the way the were on top. Nobody in the BP is a 6 ft tall twig, so I have no idea what he was thinking picking them.

    akmackay, mine too!  (We met during freshman orientation... how cheesy is that?!?)

    Diamond, it is a shame that you'll never get to go to the Stone Balloon -- that was my favorite part of Main St.

    I really need to make a trip down soon -- so much has changed since I graduated in 2001!

    haha that's cute. And the Stone Balloon was by far the best bar. The nachos at Klondike Kates (I think that's the name) were divine! This all just from visiting throughout college haha
