Le Blanc or Live Aqua in Cancun?

My fiance and I are debating between Le Blanc and Live Aqua in Cancun for our honeymoon. Has anyone been to either or both? I've been obsessively reading Trip Advisor but would love to hear from fellow Knotties too.

    I haven't seen Live Aqua, but we were in Cancun in February.  We stayed at the Sun Palace and the Le Blanc is part of the same chain.  It's the fanciest version.  I think it'd be a great option.  It's right on the main strip.  You can take advantage of the amenities at the other hotels in the chain if you want for free.  You can also easily get on the public bus and go catch the ferry if you want to go over to the Isle de Mujeres.

    live aqua is new i believe. it looks nice.
    haven't stayed at either but le blanc always gets great reviews.

    We stayed at Live Aqua.  It was nice, but to me, an AI is an AI.  Lots of pools and chairs, but not enough shaded seats on the beach for me.  We could usually find 2 chairs with umbrella by the pools though.  Food was good, buffet was great.  We were quite disappointed with the speciality restaurant (reservations needed) and honestly thought the buffet was better.  Service at the pools was good, and poolside snacks were tasty.  I can't comment on Le Blanc.  Happy Honeymoon!!
