XP Hair and Makeup Question

Is it too soon to get hair and makeup trials?  I feel like it is, but I also feel like I have to book the good stylists in this area now, before they're all booked.  But, my hair isn't long enough yet for what the style that I'd like to have done.  Furthermore, I feel like I'm not 100% sure what I want yet.  Thoughts?  Did any of you ladies book the hair and MU artists before your trials?

    Typically, you do a trial and then book. When is your wedding?

    That's kinda what I thought, but don't most good places book up far in advance?  My date is June 2, 2012 and like I said, my hair definately isn't long enough right now for the style I'm looking for.

    I think it is too soon.  I did my hair trial 2 weeks before and my make up trial the day of my shower. 

    As you said, you want your hair to be an accurate length for the event.  As for the make up trial, I wanted to wait so I could use it for a wedding event and I wanted to see if my skin would go crazy.

    I had my make up trial last August for my July wedding so that my skin coloring would be similar to what it would be for the wedding.
    I had my hair trial much later but I also went to my normal stylist.

    Book a trial before you hire an artist for your wedding. And if you have time now, go ahead and book both now. It gives you time to grow your hair out or figure out your coloring and start a good skin regimen
