Workout Accountability: Tuesday

Morning everyone!

Yesterday was my rest day, so I used it to catch up on some moving stuff and addressing more invitations. I've been so stressed lately so I can't wait to go to the gym later. Tonight is all upper body lifting and then the elliptical. 

All right, coffee time before I start all my work, can't wait to hear how everyone's been doing!

    Jude, sorry about all of the stress - I hope you get a great workout in today!

    I did weights yesterday afternoon and can barely move already.  That's what I get for taking so many days off from weights.  I'm hoping I'll be able to move enough for a run later, and will do abs, as well.

  • I shopped for 3 hours- does that count?

    I've been off my normal schedule with working out and am starting to feel the guilt! I've been pretty good foodwise, but I haven't run since Thursday! I am going to try tonight, but with all the wedding stuff I have to get done after work it has been tough. I cannot believe it is in 4 days!
  • Morning. I didn't post yesterday so just an update to my weekend work outs, I went to spin class and then lifted on Saturday. I tried running outside on Sunday and it was a complete fail. I got about a mile before I threw in the towel. I dont know if it was because I worked out for so long on Saturday or the stress of Mother's day (particularyly stressful holiday for me) but I just couldn't get there. Yesterday FI and I took the day off. We did some yard work outside and took our dog for a walk.

    This morning I did about 45 minutes of cardio on the treadmill.

    Tonight we are going to look at vases (I feel so weird saying that) for centerpieces. Because I really am not sure what to get. FMIL is coming with us for help.

  • It's been a good few days for me.  Saturday I did some Zumba and lifted a bit.  Sunday I did an hour of CardioKick and abs.  Yesterday I did an hour of Cardiokick and then 40 minutes of Zumba.  My legs and abs are really feeling it today!  I 'may' take today off or do some P90X2 at home.  I also started using my LiveStrong app on my phone again to track calories and water intake, I'd been slacking there.

  • I was traveling over the weekend for work but managed to get to the hotel gym and behave with food. Sunday was FI's brother's college graduation and I got SO sunburnt on my arms, back, and neck. When I tried to lift yesterday it just wasn't happening so I shifted to 40 min. on the elliptical.

    This morning I tried doing 30ds but after only 10 minutes this sunburn was killing me. We're supposed to have a softball game tonight but it's looking like it'll get rained out. If that happens, I'm going to hit up the elliptical again tonight.

    Morning all, I usually dont post in this thread but I think this is a great idea for accountability so if no one minds I'm going to jump in and play too :)

    Last night I did zumba-for whatever reason the class killed me, usually I am sweaty after but last night I was destroyed-feeling sluggish today

    tonight, back for treadmill light cardio, maybe 45 mins

    I have been going to the gym 3 nights a week but  I need to up it to 4...especially if I want to drop the last 15 and keep it off before november.

  • Yesterday I was only at 3,000 steps when I got out of work, so I went and played disk golf for 45 minutes and then came home and exercised on my bike for 45 minutes. Got my steps up to 12,050!

    Gym night tonight, I'd like to focus a little more on weightlifting versus cardio, but we'll see how I'm feeling when I get there.

    My fitbit came in last night so today I'm testing it out! Can't wait to see how it works :)

  • Hi everyone.  Didn't do very well yesterday exercise-wise (combo of rain and a busy evening) but I did stay at my calorie goal, which is always good. 

    Tonight is pilates at the gym for an hour, and then an hour bootcamp class.   Meals are all planned out and I should be ok on calories for the day.   
  • Hi everyone!  I think I'm going to jump in on the thread too.  I tried on a very unforgiving bridesmaid dress that I have to wear in 3 1/2 weeks and that definately jump started my motivation. 

    Yesterday I ran a little over 2 miles really hard.  Today I'm doing an hour yoga class.

    This week I also bought milk and cereal to have at my office for lunch and an apple for a snack.  I was going out and eating super unhealthly too often.

    I was able to successfully change my poor eating habits for 2 weeks! And now I'm starting with a trainer so I'm really happy there's accountability discussions on this board, I'm one to slack off if I'm given the oppertunity!
  • Travelling for work this week which is always a struggle.  Did manage to get up at 6am yesterday and today and sneak in 2 cardio workouts at the hotel gym.   Food wise I think I managed to stay on track as well.   I did treat myself to a glass of wine at the cocktail reception yesterday - it was my reward for speaking on a panel in front of a room of 100 strangers.

  • Hey ladies, I got a great nights sleep last night, and woke up and did Insanity day 8!!!!!!!! I cant believe I'm really sticking with it..... I may actually lose the weight by my wedding

  • I did my Tuesday workout.  Yay!  
    I went over on points though, because I didn't bother checking the points before eating chinese food. That and mini cupcakes.  Oh well.  I'm having a sad night and chocolate was needed.
