Sandals St. Lucia

Hi! I am looking into St. Lucia for our honeymoon. Does anyone have a preference of the three Sandals there?

Also, are the concierge & butler rooms worth the extra you spend?

We are doing the Grande because of the beach. We are also doing butler...just a one time thing. I hope its somewhat worth it...will be interesting thats for sure.

We're going to the Grande in St. Lucia on 7/30. We chose the Grande because of the beach and because we wanted a Rondoval. I heard that there is def. a difference between butler rooms and non-butler rooms. People felt they were treated differently and the rooms were newer/better in the butler rooms. However, a lot of people have also said there is no difference. So I think it's just personal opinion and what you're used to/what you're expecting on your honeymoon. Some people don't think the extra cost is worth it.

We stayed at La Toc because we like the resort feel over the hotel feel. Both the Grande and La Toc are really nice. We had a butler suite and thought it was worth the money.

We're staying at Grande is 3 weeks. I hear it's the best of the 3!

We have a concierge room and are definitely putting our money into extra tours and not a butler.

I am going to Sandals St. Lucia as well!! I can't decide betwen the 3 resorts there. We are on a budget, but still want to go out and do a lot of the excurstions they have to offer. What makes you guys pick one over the other? And is it really that easy to go from one resort to the other for a period of time??

Yay Yayyy! LaToc seemed like a great choice because, in my opinion, seemed in the middle of Grande and Halcyon. Grande seemed very partyish (which we do like) and Halcyon seems more layed back. You can find us by the swim-up bar, especially on the last day or two of the vaca! :)

Make sure you read some reviews on trip advisor. We also talked to a travel agent and had a bunch of questions answered. We were basically deciding between the Grande and LaToc. Halcyon didn't seem quite like our cup of tea (seems more laid back, more gardeny.) We ultimately chose LaToc because we can stay longer because it's a bit cheaper. I've had friends stay at all three resorts and each all loved their respective resort. They also traveled between the three. It seems like it's pretty easy to travel between them. Sandals has a shuttle but I guess it stops at 11 pm, so if you're later than that, then you've got to get a cab. My FI and I will definitely go to the Grande for a day or two. Not sure if we'll go to Halcyon or not.
