travel agent recommendations

I'm thinking about using a travel agent for the honeymoon (we want to go to Hawaii), but I've never used one before, so please recommend yours!

    I used Irene at Travel Dreams.  She is great to work with.

    Hi!

    We just booked our HM to Greece, we were so torn, and pretty clueless on the process. We went into it thinking we weren't going to use a travel agent, but as more time passed and our research was confusing us, we contacted a few which were so so, then I posted something on the knot and I got tons of reviews on Irene. My FI has delt with her mainly, but she had the best prices, and was great to work with, we changed our ideas like 8 times and it didn't phase her in the least. She works best through email, and you can just shoot her emails on different ideas and such. I do know she is away for a few days and returning next week, she may be on email, but if you don't hear back from her right away, she def will get back to you!

    We're also using Irene Mastalia for our Greece/Turkey honeymoon, and she's been amazing to work with.

    I came on here asking for travel agent recs back in February and decided to go with Irene as well. She is so easy to work with and replies to emails very quickly (which I love).

    Melissa from Travel Leaders in Hillsdale 201 664 4850, she is so sweet and so easy to work with, plus if you book with them you'll get free save the dates and 50% off their invitations and favors/gifts that they offer. (Clearly you don't need save the dates or invitations at this point but maybe bm/gm gifts)

    we used Janet @ Liberty Travel in Middletown.  We also booked Hawaii (4 islands in 2 weeks).  She did a great job coordinating it.

    We are using Carmen of Travel by Carmen (www.travelbycarmen.com). She's a close friend of my FMIL and has been incredible planning our honeymoon.

    i would suggest you look for a Hawaii agent on the gohawaii tourism site.  On the HM board Rhonda at VIP Vacations get's rave reviews and she does on the local hawaii board too.
    Just a suggestion.

    Sue at A Cruise for You! is amazing if you want to book a cruise.  She has booked cruises for me before (including one to Hawaii) and is very thorough and helpful.  She is already looking out for good honeymoon deals for us -- we're probably going to the Mediterranean.  www.acruiseforyou.net
