    i went to a pampered chef party last week and found that out! I had no idea you could register through them, but i am def doing it! I have a TON of stuff i want! haha :D

    A friend of mine had a pampered chef party a few years back.  Everyone who attended could order something for themselves andor something for the bride and pay for it right there.  Not bad!

    Everyone talks such great things about pampered chef and I have never ever been to one, so I can't wait to go to one, (makes me feel kind of old but I love stuff for my house)

    Yup, the bridal shower they had for my SIL back in July was a Pampered Chef party. Of course I didn't know that at the time (this is the same SIL that I just went to the baby shower for this past weekend) and got conned into buying something. I just felt obligated, and I hate feeling like that. It was just so tacky and gift grabby when she was also registered at a few stores.

    But I could see how it would be a fun party if people actually knew ahead of time and that was put on the invites.

    I agree Missy.  It should have been made clear by the host that it was a Pampered Chef Wedding Shower.  There are many ways to conduct the shower, ie creating a bulletin board with items on the bride's wishlist, etc.

    If you were to have a P.C. Registry, you are not obligated to host a party as well.  You are free to do one or the other, or both if you'd like :)
