Ring Pop Favor w/ story help!!

So FI propsed a while ago with a RingPop because we played mini-golf and I won. Deal was the ring carats would be the amount of strokes I won by...it was 3...ring is not lol...

But anyway I have a picture of the ringpop and the scorecard. I am trying to figure out a way to use it as a favor but still keep by cobalt blue/silver colors in tact....

I was thinking just putting the ring in a box with a gift tag of the pic with story but it may be to much to write and become to big...

Other idea was just leaving a framed note on each table explaining the favor...

Any crafty people have some ideas....i used to consider myself quite crafty until my own wedding came along :)

thanks

  • They don't have to match your theme, but putting them in a box like you said is probably the way to go.  I don't think you need the pic attached to the favor.  However, you could use the pic for your table numbers and name each table "Hole 1", "Hole 2", etc.  Although, that sounds kinda dirty.  ;)

I think naming the tables after the holes is great, but I would use a flag with the number on it, similar to what you see at a golf course.
  • No advice but wanted to say my cousin/we did ring pops as favors at our engagement party with a sign is Sweet Please Take a Treat.  They were a huge hit with kids and adults alike :)  Some grown ups even took the leftovers with them lol.  Your story and idea is cute!

  • I would just put the note explaining the favors in a frame on each table.  Cute idea, BTW, on the proposal :)
  • Maybe instead of Hole 3, etc. you could do Par 3?  Still in keeping with the theme but with no dirty overtones :)

  • How about instead of putting notes on the tables when your making toasts one of you could explain the story. That way you get it out into the public. Some tables are too dark to see any writing. It would be better to annouce it then write it. You could glue the wrapper of the ring pop to a peace of ribbon and tie it around their flatware instead of a box. Make it part of the decor.
