Product Review (Dog Food)

Natural Choice Herring Meal, Rice and Potato Formula Adult Dog Food

We decided to switch foods when Herb was having her mange/allergy problems. She's been on this for probably 3-4 weeks and her coat looks amazing. Her coat has actually gotten shorter, so it's now closer to how a purebread pit looks. She's also not shedding half as much as she was 3 weeks ago. I'm actually amazed because I really wasn't expecting visible results.

It smells kindof narsty, but I'm getting more used to it. The price is under $50 for a 35lb bag. 1 bag probably lasts us 6-8 weeks. It's actually a dollar or two cheaper than the royal canin we had been feeding her,

For those of you having skin issues with your dogs, I recommend.

Wow.  I was thinking maybe you TRIED the dog food.  I knew a guy who ate dog biscuits once.

And that's great that it helped.  Fat in a diet is good for hair, on dogs and people.

When we had Higgins, he was allergic to corn. We switched to Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul (it doesn't contain corn), and Jake loves it. It is cheaper than what we were feeding him, and can be purchased at the feed store. I like the feed store better than PetsMart, so that is an extra bonus.

Min - I love the Chicken Soup foods.  They are much more reasonable than most of the premium brands and all of my animals have done great with them.
