Name Change

Does anyone have any advice on the name changing process?  I know I need to do social security first, then driver's license, and passport last.  Any other tips or words of advice to make the process go more smoothly?  Thanks!

    It depends which social security office you go to. I went to the one in midtown and I waited for an hour during my lunch break. Driver's license place took much longer and I thought going to Montgomery that it would be shorter, but it wasn't. Both places take a certified copy of your marriage certificate....that's what I used since my original license took forever to get in.

    Pretty straight forward and that order is what works best.  Dont forget banks and credit cards after all of this.
