    Thank you!
Crazy.. 7 day count down and the crazy family drama has already begun! Nothing like a big event to cause drama that never existed before />_< haha
I think it's suppose to be a beautiful sunny day, so we can only hope! Luckily our venue is all indoor, just in case ;)

Yeah it's been a little doom and gloom out here lately, but the forecast looks positive. We are hoping to have our pictures done outside.. There is a beautiful little park across from our venue, as well as a gelato place.. I'm hoping for a couple cute pics in there :o)

I'm just not looking forward to my dad being there. Kinda was hoping he wouldn't show.. and then it causes me mom (they are divorced) to ramble on about him and their rela and how awful he is.. She hasn't asked "hows the wedding planning" once in the entire process. Thanks mom..  *rolls eyes*
I'm definitely ready to have my own family with Fi. :]

Did you decide on a t-shirt/tank color?

No I never posted my NEW and IMPROVED dress on this board.. I don't know if very many people would care too much on this board honestly (besides hike and irish.. but irish is on my month board so she's been there, done that :P )

    PICS!

(please excuse the misshapen sweetheart. It has been fixed)

Why aren't your parents supportive? because they don't like him, because you're too young, or because it's too soon? (I'm just assuming because it always seems to be one of those three with parents)

Yeah I'm pretty excited about the gelato place.. I hope we can make it work.. And then I get to be on show at a gelato place :o)

You have a LONG time before the wedding don't waste a lot of time on it now. We had a shorter engagement and my mom LOVES H and even she didn't get interested until the last 6 months.

FTL - I love your dress!  Of course we care.  We're all chomping at the bit for the wedding AW... still waiting on an AW from Stan!  And I want more from Irish!

Ah yes, the divorced people who can't seem to think of anything except how much they hate the other person.  My grandparents have been divorced for over 40 years and are still the bane of our existence at family events for that very reason.  Good luck with that!  With my grandparents, I've just had my parents remind them (over and over... for each big event) that it's not about them and they need to act like grown ups and put it aside if they want to be included.  We'll see... it's already rearing it's ugly head and my wedding is still a year away.  Oh joy...

aww thanks ladies :) I'm glad you approve of this dress. The other two were nice, but they didn't rock my bridal socks off. This one.. I refuse to take off when I put it on haha :) I love it sooooo much :)
I know.. what the heck Stan?!!? She needs to hurry up and get those pics back!

Wow Calindi- your grandparents? That's a new one. That's good that you have your parents there to keep them in line. My aunt can keep my mom in line when she is around, but not when I think Mom and I are going out for a nice lunch for just the two of us.. -_- Then I am therapist FTL.. lol

Kendall- Don't take it personally.. 777 Is a LONG way away for people when they aren't planning anything. It may not seem far away for you, but for them, that's TWO YEARS ya know? I can't think of what I'll be doing two years from now... They'll get on board when you get closer.. Like shan said, about 6 months out.

No one in my family seemed to care much about the wedding stuff until about TWO months out.. haha But then it became nonstop. They'll come around.

Yeah that's understandable. I know how that is.. My mom hasn't asked "how's the planning going" ONCE. Not even ONCE. And she just came up from California and spent all day with me yesterday. Kinda sucky... But I guess that's part of growing up and starting a new family with fi.

I understand that Kendall.. I had a mini break down last week and told fi that planning the wedding has made me realize how little people care about me. (mainly directed towards my mom and dad). I think every bride goes through that feeling at multiple points.. unfortunately.. :/

haha Thanks ggirl :) What is helping you with the wedding withdrawal? DIY projects? I think I'm going to move my addiction to pintrest soon.. especially since Fi leaves right after the wedding for three weeks so I'm going to be REALLy bored and alone haha

Pinterest helps. Now at least H is on days so my nights won't be as boring anymore haha.

I've also been focusing on work and tossing around the idea of retaking my GRE'S and possibly applying to the Ph.d. program I want. Except, H asked me the cost and I totally didn't check it out because I know that it will discourage me haha. I am having more fun dreaming about doing it then making it real because then the dream will be gone for a bit.

I wanna follow you on pinterest!!

I'm not on yet >_< I just know all about it. I will PM you next week when I get mine up!
I have been putting it off because I know it will distract me from the wedding stuff! I get too excited with other DIY projects and random new recipes that I forget there is still wedding stuff to take care of haha :)

Ph.D program would be amazing, but I know what you mean about the money.. I can't wait to start grad school, but at the same time I know that is some $$$ that I don't want us to have to spend, even though it's not going to waste.

and YAY for H being back on days! That is fantastic news! I am dying for Friday to get here just because I miss Fi so much.. His stupid schedule is NOT conducive to wedding planning (or personal time for that matter) and right before the wedding it totally sucks. What your H on nights during the week before the wedding too?? I wish Fi could have gotten a couple more days off this week, but they said no and said no to the week after since they need him in a completely different state.

Your dress is really pretty, and definitely unique.  Did you just end up buying a 3rd one?  I can't remember for sure what the ones had looked like.

Some people just don't show interest in weddings.  Especailly if they are years away.  I don't even think I would be interested in my own wedding if it was that far away.

beach- thanks. Yeah it's a new one. The first was less than 300 (so it sucks that we lost the cash there, but at least it wasn't a lot) the second was my cousins so we didn't lose any money there (and it's too big on me anyway) and then this one. We still stayed within the dress budget, since this one didn't need ANY alterations. thank goodness..

Yeah two years out.. I mean.. At a little over one year out fi and I were looking at things.. we had picked out what we wanted our cake to LOOK like.. our colors.. uh.. I think that's about it. lol. Soooo much has changed since even then, I can't imagine having two whole years left.
