    Yesterday was my horrible boss's last day. This morning was surreal -- walking into the building, knowing I wouldn't have to see him. His office is all cleared out and his name is no longer on the door. In a final act of kindness, he left little gifts on everyone's desk, which I hope helps me remember the nice things about him. Despite that... I am hella happy he's gone!

    I bought my dress recently! I'm LOVE it so hard! I really went in fairly open minded about what I wanted, and was willing to look at everything but ball gowns. There was one particular dress i'd spotted online that I wanted to see in person. It was just my mom and I and we went to Bridals By Lori and I pulled the dress and it was it. Done and done. I ended up getting the Kenneth Pool gown Estelle. LOVE. Now I'm really starting to get excited for the wedding! A few weeks ago I was ready to forgo it all and head to the courthouse. Now, I think I'll stick it out for the party! I'd post pics, but I'm on my cell and I actually don't know how to do that with the mobile format.

    I'm awfully proud that I only ate half my weight in Reese's yesterday instead of my full weight LOL.  November 1st was my goal date to start working out regularly again and I successfully woke up early and ran a few miles this morning. 

    Here were our matching costumes yesterday...I love him lol.

    @mpickl - I know the feeling!  I've had my share of craptastic bosses over the years!

    National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) started today. For those that don't know what thatnis, you have to write 50,000 words in the month of November. I started writing right at midnight and almost reached 2K words before I fell asleep. This will be my third year of NaNo and I did a summer camp in July. My goal is to write 5K before the end of today. We'll see if it actually happens. We're having our Halloween party on Saturday so I need to get ahead!

    I plan on having all my xmas shopping done by Dec 1st and today I bought a beautiful pair of Coach leather gloves for my sister...I am in love with them- hope i dont keep them for myself LOL. As of now- I'm half way done with shopping :)

    Thanks all! And deburnin, im pretty sure the one novel I ever finished writing never tried to sell it or self publish it came mostly from national novel writing month! Good luck!

    On Tuesday my workplace let us go home early due to a water main break.  And I just didn't feel like going into my 2nd job so I called in and took the night off.  The FI came home from work and saw me doing housework and demanded that I stop.  He wanted to do something special since we had a work night to ourselves.  We got dressed up and went to Mitchell's Fish Market for dinner.  It was a nice thing for him to have done.  I love that man!  :-)

    Thanks! One of these days I plan on actually editing the first drafts I've gotten from NaNo and trying to publish/self-publish. I've told FI by the time I'm 30. I figure five years is enough time to get my but in gear.

    Booked our honeymoon last night!  Now that I have a beach firmly in sight, I need to get my rear in gear and start working out (because procrastination will NOT release it's grip on me!).

    Did you book your honeymoom in Aruba??? I saw that flights were only like $450...I was going to wait to book until I got my tax refund but I didnt know if we should do it now while flights were realatively cheaper!

    Yesterday we finally met with the priest that we want to officiate so we have the wedding date (just need to do some more paperwork and a deposit) and we can start working on something a little further down the checklist!

    Finally got the FI to get a hold of his BM about his band playing our wedding. It sounds like it's going to be cheaper then I budgeted, and may come with a photographer. So, I might be able to save a little money! Just got to hash out the details and get the contract signed. Couldn't be more excited.

    Right now the 10 Months seems like forever, but I know it's going to go fast.
