Tipping

So I came across some article/blog stating that some ppl tip their DJ?!?! I've never heard of this before so I want to make sure I cover everyone we are supposed to tip... let me know if you plan on tipping anyone I leave out

Hair/Makeup-Yes
Offciant- Will make donation to church..how much??
Reception Staff (including bartender)- Yes, required
DJ-NO, he's indepedant so he recieves 100% of payment(does not go to the company he works for first then gets a cut of it)
Photographer- No
Videographer- Didn't plan on it.. in same situation as photographer, independant and owns the company so he will receive 100% on payment
Limo Driver- Yes

Am I forgetting anyone else??

What I had heard is if they own their own business then you are not required to tip. (After all, they set their own prices.) However, if they are employed or contracted with a business then you should... so I would only tip the DJ if they were part of a larger company.

Own the business or not, a tip should be earned. I tipped everyoen who went above and beyond, regardless of whether they owned the company or not
