Online Shopping

Hey all!  I'm just getting started on this dress shopping thing and I am a plus size bride.  I haven't been out looking yet, but I'm afraid there will be so little to look at or try on.  Has anyone bought any dresses online and if so do you have any good websites for me to try?  Just thought I would ask.  Thanks so much!!
-Angie

I would strongly recommend calling local bridal salons to see if they carry a decent assortment of PS dresses. Or post on your local board asking if they know of any stores. Most stores from my experience have a section of PS dresses. You'll feel better being able to try them on first.

One thing about online - many of the sites are Chinese knockoff sites that make you think you're getting a designer dress for a great price. In reality, you get a cheap knockoff that looks and feels cheap. There are tons of horror stories all over the internet, including this site.

EVERYTHING in some form or another is made in China. All the clothes in department stores whether its Walmart, GAP, Express or Torrid, everything is made in China. Its not the company of origin that makes the quality poor, its the fabric. You pay for what you get. David's Bridal dresses are made in China. I was a bridal consultant for years, trust me if the dress is not entirely made in China MANY components are.
