I love how when people want answers to "what is going on with this current event?" the first thing they think to do is ask a wedding message board, not google or something.

You said what I wanted to say but didn't have the guts to do :-) Seriously, this controversy is all over everything, including FB. This is probably over generalizing, but OP said in another post she is 19 so surely she is active on FB. It's possible she is not, but I think it's a pretty safe assumption.

Yup.

Plusalso, OP simply asked 'What's happening with it'? For all we know, she's talking about the food, the workers, the CEO, the media frenzy, etc. If OP wanted a real response, then OP should have taken a bit more time and been a bit more specific with her question.

OR, is OP wanted a debate about it, then that too should have been stated.

I'm sorry, I get that it's 'CHIT CHAT', but google isn't that hard to use and neither is the local media website.

How is this any different than coming on here asking about a medical related question and then that OP is referred to a doctor? This just an empty question and OP hasn't even responded, so my thought is she did take the advice given and looked it up (hopefully).

So, just so I can make sure I'm on the same page: I need to read every post by an OP before I'm allowed to say anything about her being uninformed...just to make sure she's not posted about suffering a personal tragedy?

Well, I don't know, because I (like at least one other stated) hadn't read the OP's other post. So imagine my surprise when you come riding in to save the day, with previously unknown (to me) information.

I can't think of any other way to avoid this in the future. But if you have suggestions, I'm certainly open to them.

Lucy, I also have to admit I really respect you as a MOD for CC and you know 9/10 I'll side with you, however I've just got to throw it out there that it seems like every single one of your responses on this particular thread has seemed short, snappy and very uncharacteristic of you. Is everything O.K. with you?

I get that you just admitted where you were wrong above, but still, no one in this thread once said anything cruel or mean to OP yet you came charging in here like we were bashing OP when that's no where close to what was happening. For you or anyone else to expect or assume that posters read every single thread on this forum, that's just absolutely ludicrous. I'm not on here much and I only read what I think *might* be interesting.

Also, there have been many times where the whole 'you can't tell me how to post' idea comes up, so what's the deal? Also, I'd be very willing to bet that many of the individuals posting on here are pretty similar IRL as they are on here. I wont assume, but I will bet. Taking out your frustration about other incidents on the internet, on this thread, on us, is just wrong.

Again though, I find your reaction very uncharacteristic, so I hope all is O.K.

That's my two pennies.

And to the OP, if you ever come back, I highly recommend local news media sites and google for all current event related news. We're all for debates, but since none of us knows exactly what you were looking for, we can't fully help you.

I do have a facebook. I haven't really been on it because my brother just passed away and I have been trying to avoid the social network of facebook. I'm not trying to cause any stir either. My dad and I were watching the news and he scrolled through channels and three of them mentioned chickfila. I didn't get the chance to read underneath them. I didn't know if you guys understood, sorry I asked.
