Tapas Caterers

Hi!

Anyone have any suggestions for caterers who could put on a good tapas spread without costing me a gazillion dollars?

Have you looked into Swig?  I love their small plates!

If you want true, Spanish tapas, you're going to have a hard time finding it in Milwaukee.  La Merenda does international tapas and is very good.  Swig, Balzac, and Bosley on Brady do small plates and are good, but are not really tapas, per say.  Icon in Madison does tapas pretty well too, but again, it's not really true Spanish tapas.  None of these places are particularly cheap.  Sorry, that's a hard thing to find.  GL!

La Merenda has very good authentic tapas, but it is expensive.

I love Swig...their small plates would accommodate many tastes.

I am looking at doing the same thing and most of the venues I have met with said they could do it.  Intercontinental said they have done heavy orderves dinners along with Lee john catering.  I am still looking around but I was told most places will work with you on this.
