Aviation Wedding Favors?

My FI and I are both aerospace engineers so we are super excited about getting to have our reception at the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita. (http://www.kansasaviationmuseum.org/)

Does anyone have any good ideas for aviation/airplane wedding favors? I'm looking for aviation stuff only, not really "travel" themed.

We are both kind of obsessed with these color-changing cups that you can get in bulk with a graphic printed on them (a plane with our name and wedding date), but I'm not sure everyone at the wedding would really appreciate those that much. If we did choose to do those, I'd still want to put something edible in the cups.

Aviation shaped cookies? I did a quick google search and you can get cookie cutters in plane and space/rocket ship shapes. You could DIY them - or see if a local baker would do a custom batch for you.

I agree that something edible is probably best. You're right that people will have little to no use for a single plastic cup with your names and wedding date on it.

Cookies decorated as planes and/or rockets would be awesome, or airplane-shaped candy:-) I was an aero major in college and fly for the USAF now, so I totally understand the aviation-theme:-)

The first thing I thought of was chocolate shaped as planes. I would go with edible.

My friend had a plane themed wedding since her and her hubby's relationship was mostly through a plane because they lived in different countries. There were some cute favors at www.WeddingFavors.org with planes and travel themed. I know you aren't really looking for travel but I will give you the options and you can see what you think!
