I have had one of those days where I'm just so excited about all the planning. I feel like a little girl sometimes. Coming from someone who never really thought about her wedding until now, that's a big deal! A few weeks ago I bought my dress at David's on a bit of a whim. I have struggled with some serious body image issues for years and I found a dress that made me feel beautiful. After feeling so indifferent about most of them and nervous about looking okay, when I put this one on, I knew it was the one. I'm sure there are others that could make me feel that way, but this one felt special and it was on sale, so I went for it.
The fitting assistant put a beautiful veil on me, but it was expensive. I was a little bummed because I'm on a pretty tight budget and I had already spent a little more on my dress, so I decided not to buy it with the gown. Last night, I was browsing eBay, and I found the veil! It didn't have a single bid on it yet, and it was expiring that night! I waited up and put in a bid, and low and behold, I won! I'm so excited. It was HALF PRICE with FREE SHIPPING!
