Here is a link to a website which I found a possible favor I might use for the wedding and would love to hear your opinions on what you would think if you were on the receiving end?
Pretty, but I'm wary of giving anything potentially considered decor. People have different tastes.
That said, edibles are usually unanimously welcomed.

Exactly. Stick with something edible. Of course, favors aren't even a necessity so you could just skip them completely, too.

I've made a bunch of champagne cork brides for my bridal shower favors and these can also be used as wedding favors . Plus, my friends are HUGE wine/champagne lovers so this is perfect for me. I'm just starting out with my side business and have a bunch of other cork creations that might also be a good fit based on different hobbies, personalities and themes. If you're interested check out http://www.poppin-corks.com. The brides are $6 each but I give discounts for orders over 10 and I'm willing to work with you on price since I would really like the exposure.
Agree - go with edible. Yeah, it's pretty, but yeah I'd leave it behind. It would go with nothing in my home and I'm guessing many of your guests would feel the same. Go edible.
