Where can I find pandits?

If some of you can help me regarding where I can find pundits and what constitutes being a good pandit, that would be great. Thanks so much!

    Have you tried local temples?

    Our pandit really doesn't do weddings, but is close my my fiance's family. I have met with a lot of the pandits in the past, and they are all great, but we'd just feel more comfortable with somebody we have been seeing for years.
