Hi ladies. I have been MIA for a while trying to get check everything off my list early and I did it!!! I have to bring all my programs, favors, guest book/pens, etc to my venue tomorrow night.
I have been so overwhelmed with work the last month. It was tough getting home at 7 PM each night to complete wedding tasks until midnight or later, but all my work paid off.
My sister and sister-in-law came by today and helped finish my programs and favors. It was great having some help and they were fantastic.
My FI and I have been fighting nearly every day for the last month - with each fight triggered by my exhaustion from work and the wedding. Today was a turning point for us. He looked around and saw the boxes we need to deliver tomorrow and suddenly realized how hard I had been working. I hope everything fits in the truck.
Depsite the fighting, the stress and lack of sleep, I am counting down the days until I marry my best friend and the love of my life. I waited for him for so long and I was elated when he proposed. I love him so much. He loves me just the way I am and does not want me to change.
On a side note - my father does not typically express his feelings. I received an email from him last week where he asked if he could post a picture of the gazebo area where the ceremony will take place on facebook. When I told him that he could, he posted it immediately. I thought that he found the photo online, but found out from my mother that they actually went down there. I was brought to tears when I heard how excited he was that he could post that photo. He has been having a really tough time these last few years and it is wonderful to see that he is excited about the wedding.
